The Église Royale Sainte-Marie (French) or Koninklijke Sint-Mariakerk (Dutch) is a Roman Catholic parish church located on the Place de la Reine/Koninginneplein in the Brussels municipality of Schaerbeek. The church was designed by Louis van Overstraeten and built in an eclectic style combining influences from Byzantine and Roman architecture. Construction began in 1845 and was completed in 1885. The windows were designed and created by the Belgian stained glass artist, Jean-Baptiste Capronnier. The building received protected status (''beschermd erfgoed'') through a royal decree issued on November 9, 1976. ==Gallery== File:Nouvelle église Ste Marie, projet original par Louis van Overstraeten.JPG|Early drawing of the Church's plan File:Plan de l'église ste Marie en construction par Louis van Overstraeten.JPG|Floor plan of Sainte-Marie File:Église Royale Ste-Marie-Schaerbeek-chaire.jpeg|The pulpit File:Église Royale Ste-Marie-Schaerbeek-retable(gauche).jpeg| The retable File:St.Mary's Church in Brussels.jpg File:Lijn 94 koningstraat St Josse.jpg|A view from Koningsstraat/Rue Royal in nearby Saint-Josse-ten-Noode 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Saint Mary's Royal Church」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
